Marc,

Thats too cool. I like the Cham on their home page that eats the bug. You have to watch for a bit but it happens. I originally heard about it from you in a post a few months back. I signed up for their mailing list as soon as I saw it.

I am planning a trip around it. I don't want to go opening weekend . I figure its going to be crazy and very crowded. I am shooting for early Oct.
Maybe two weeks into its opening. either way I am buying tickets in the next couple of days. It is well worth the 8 hour drive.

It's tempting to go on opening week but I am resisting. There will be a bunch of cool things going on and I'm sure they will give out free stuff. But I usually like to go to these things on a monday or tuesday. They are less crowded and I get to take my time.
I really hope they kept the chameleon exhibit the way they had it in the concept design last year. It looked really cool. Can't wait.

I actually sold them some of the panthers they will be using in their exhibit. I plan on getting out there in January to check the place out.

What kind of panthers? I'll post some pics of the enclosures once I get there.

The rainforest exhibit and the Amazon Flooded Forest is what I've been really excited about. I'm gonna get out there ASAP, but I already have a trip planned to Hawaii I need to handle first.

argghhhh! I'm contemplating whether i am going to skip one of my graduate class for this.
My gf also wants to go. We gonna skip classes for this. lol..
I felt like going back to high school.

She is studying for Master in nurse management; so, she is now convincing herself that this is a field trip for her studies

The grand opening is free admission, right?

Free if you are 6 or under... Otherwise it 25 per person. Sunday the 28th has tickets available. Looks like the 27th is no longer available.
