Blindness question

I was just wondering if a chameleon goes blind in an eye, would he still keep it open (and move it around) or would he keep it closed? Im just wondering because I think one of my chameleons eye my be weaker than the other. Thanks:D

Its more if a concern on the symptoms etc like if it would continue to stay open etc
But his aim etc is fine.....if one is blind it would definetly effect his aim correct?

But why do you think one eye is worse than the other? If his aim is fine and he is opening it and it looks normal then what makes you concerned? Is it a question just out of curiosity? Their aim will be off initially, but they can learn to compensate for it. If their eye doesn't track (follow moving objects) or you can sneak up on them from one side without them knowing then I might be concerned.

When you go to feed him, does he miss a lot and frequently? because if he is able to aim and perfectly shoot, then there is no way he is blind.

I've tried the sneak up and it scared me but I tried with the worm today and he turned and got it so it just might be me exaggerating
