The Bean Beetle Cultures

I culture Callosobruchus maculatus, a tropical, prolific species. The larvae eat black-eyed peas; the adults neither eat nor drink. The culture needs no water, and at 75-80 degrees, the adult bean beetles just keep on coming!

Bean beetles are a perfect feeder for baby chameleons, Pygmies, and Carpets as they climb readily on glass and plastic.

Bean beetle adults are 1/8 inch long, and 30% higher in protein than pinhead crickets. Unlike fruit fly cultures, the food doesn't dry out or mold, you just add more black-eyed peas!

4 cultures for $35.00, shipping is $15.00

1-3 cultures for $10 each, shipping is $10-$15.

The Green Banana Roach

The Green Banana Roach (GBR) is my favorite feeder. The GBR is a prolific breeder, needs only once a week 5-minute care, is BRIGHT GREEN, and is quick moving to catch the chameleons attention. If you have a picky eater, GBR's will entice them to eat! An advantage over Dubia Roaches is that the adults don't get so large that you can't feed them off.

NEW LOWER PRICES!
50 mix sized nymphs for $40.00
100 mix sized nymphs for $75.00
$2.00 per adult when available

Shipping $16 for West Coast, $22 for East Coast, guaranteed live arrival.

Indian Stick Insects

The Indian Stick Insect is the most common stick insect raised for study in universities, classrooms and as a feeder. Adults get to a 5 inch length, nymphs start out at a 1/4 inch, so you have a wide variety of sizes to offer your chameleons. The Indian Stick insect is also very soft, so chameleons can munch down bigger sticks than crunchier food items. Once the nymphs start hatching, they can be housed with adults.

100 nymphs for $25.00 (Currently I am filling back orders, will have some available in April 2014)

Shipping $16 for West Coast, $22 for East Coast, guaranteed live arrival.
