Baby veiled in a 24x24x48?

I'm in the process of ordering a 24x24x48 aluminum screen cage from lllreptile, but don't quite have enough money for a smaller cage. So I was wondering, if a young 3 inch -/+ veiled will do fine in a cage of this size. It seems most people reccomend a small cage so the veiled can hunt it's food easily, and they have issues hunting in a large cage, but wouldn't this be easily solved by cup feeding? Thanks.

You can make it work if you wan take a piece of wood and just raise it off of the bottom to adjust the hight, some have a plastic bottom that you can us. Just drill some holes in it and put a 5 gallon bucket under to raise the hight if you want. Then you have your drainage set up.

Um...what now?

hahahahahhahh, why did he just go on about misting systems? but i have the same question, i think im just going to go with the bigger cage. i assume you have already bought your cage and are now using it. but im definitely thinking about just going with the bigger cage.

it can be just fine, most important will be making
sure the animal can locate it's food.

if it has been cup fed, for example, the large cage
won't matter because the cham is used to going to
a spot to eat.

other people will have other opinions.
but i think you can make it work.:D
