Acting weird!

So just about 3 days ago our chameleon has been acting strange. She is climging up the branch all the way to the mesh lid and hanging upside down from there and then walking down to the ground. Im starting tot think the reason shes going to the ground is because shes trying to lay eggs. And the reason shes going to the lid is for more heat but we cant figure it out and were not sure, please help!!!

Do you have a laying bin in the bottom of the cage for her? If not, supplying her with one may stop the "up and down pacing" &/or give you a better idea of what is going on with her especially if the laying bin leads to a change in her behavior.
