Zucchini Flowers

i have a garden in my backyard and had heard about Chams eating hibiscus
flowers so when I spotted the big yellow flowers on my zucchini plant I took
one to my Cham and dang , it was like nothing was more important then
eating that flower.She devoured it!! I imagine it would be pretty god for
her.

You gota be very careful what you feed em. Some plants are poison to them. I'm not sure if zuccini plants are ok but here is a link to some safe plants you need to check out .

Zucchini flowers aren't toxic. I am sure it was good for your veiled. They are really good, actually. A recipe if anyone wants to try them..

Stuffed Zucchini Flowers
Serves 4-6 people

Batter:
1/2 cup beer
1/2 cup flour
1 egg
Pinch of salt
Dash of Tabasco
Let rest for 30 minutes.

Stuffing:
2 oz. mozzarella, cut into small pieces
1 oz gorgonzola
1/2 cup parmesan
1/2 cup ricotta cheese
1 Tbsp butter

Put in food processor to form a paste. Stuff flowers. Dip in batter and fry in hot olive oil. Serve with a sprinkling of salt and parmesan cheese or with tomato sauce.

For tomato sauce:
2 Tbsp olive oil
2 medium Roma tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped
2 baby zucchini, diced
Basil leaves
Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper
Sauté in skillet to cooked through.

I was alittle worried at first about that recipe, but then i saw "fry" part. Yeah im game. Those flowers are getting used now.
