Cheers i was told 90-95 But can lower it by moving the bulb awayI think your basking spot is to high. I think it should be 80-85 for a female veiled.

So I'm hoping she's pregnant, it's been 3 weeks and I have her in a bio active viv with soul/ play sand substrate And a seperate laying box full of just washed plays and hidden at the back of her Viv

Thank you remkonA chameleon will lay eggs wheter she has mated or not.
So if she was ready to receive the male that means she was receptive at the time otherwise she would have made known she would not have any...
That would also mean she will be gravid and if not now then soon, but from the looks of it I'd say she's with eggs.
In any case you should prepare a layingbin.
I agree, it should be around 85FI think your basking spot is to high. I think it should be 80-85 for a female veiled.
It's at 87f now nearest I could get it. I think I'm just too eager for her to layI agree, it should be around 85F
Did that the other day and she went full prehistoric on his arse. Never seen her so angry at him. Think being a new Cham daddy I'm just panicking a lot cos don't want anything to happen to herShow her to the male by holding her outside his cage. If she darkens her background color to almost black and hisses and rocks back and forth and gapes she's producing eggs.
Hi. It's 29 days today they were together on the 17th Feb for about two hours till they got bored of each otherHow many days ago were they together?
She's a lovely girl only friendly if SHE wants to be. But that's typical of Yemens apparentlyYa. Blue means gravid in these girls. I can't believe the veil on her! It looks as big as my Echo's!
Stan is 11 months old and pickles is 15 months old. This is the only time I'm going to breed them. Just think they should try at least onceView attachment 178684 Little Stan playing the big man with pickles while the dogs watch on
Cheers again. She just hasn't shown any interest about going down to the bin yet. Off food looks like she's gonna burst Just panicking a bit Spot the first time Yemen daddy lolShe should be close to laying. It's usually about 30 days from mating until laying.
