Will Mia get enough water?

I spray Mia's viv 3times a day with warm water and also use a dripper. Every time the dripper gets turned on she notices the water dripping comes over and instead of opening her mouth she tries to catch the water with her tongue, doesn't look like she manges to catch much water. I've only ever seen her drink from her leaves a couple of times which was ages ago. Do you think she will get enough water from using her tongue to catch it?? She's not dehydrated. I'm just wondering if anyone else's cams do that too. I have placed the dripper so it drips on to her favorite umbrella plant to see if she drinks from the leaves that way but she hasn't.

My female panther drinks the same way and always has. She always has nice white urates so I dont think it should be a problem. if you are worried about hydration, supplement with hornworms or silkies just to be sure.

Pan does that at the begining of his drink, but if I co tinue to spray for a bother half minute or so he starts licking leaves. He never did it before, but what ever floats his boat :) I use a pipet a few times a week and just drip water on his nose till he starts drinking it. When he's done he tips his head up or walks away/gets mad at me. I can usually only do it when he has water in his eyes from being misted though. He freaks out about my hand being that close other wise.

I have only ever seen my Carmie drink a few times, one time I saw her drinking from leaves and the other time she was shooting water drops, but she must be because her eyes look good and her urates are always nice and white. Just one heads up that I have learned from killing my umbrella plant is make sure the drips that are going on the leaves dont all end up going into the dirt of your plant because I flooded mine out and had to replace it, twice lol oops.

Bet Carmie aint happy that you've killed her plants twice? :p I've not killed Mia's YET. :D

My two Veileds i rarely see drink to be honest my female i see sometimes more so now, but my male never hardly i have done but it its always when i come back into the room as he is shy.But they seem hydrated enough, so maybe she drinks when your not in the room.

Where as my panther drinks everytime i mist straight away, he seems to drink alot, do panthers drink more than veileds?
