Will FF Mites Harm Baby Chams?

Today I recieved 6 fruit fly cultures (hydei) that are full of mites. LOTS OF THEM. I have never had them before. I need the flies to feed a small clutch of veileds that stated to hatch. My question is this - Will the mites harm the baby chams in any way? Should I throw these cultures out? Help Please.....

Personally I wouldn't risk giving them to the babies. Bocajan has tiny veiled babies that just hatched in Boca Raton and just got in hydei fruit flies. I'm sure she's share a culture if you need them. If you'll PM me I'll put you in touch with her.

Thanks Jann, but I have other cultures and enough crickets to get me by until early next week. Does any body have experience with fruit fly mites? Any info would help. Thanks!!!

I use anti-mite paper underneath the cultures. I've only had a problem with my superworms though. The mites crawl out and die on the mite paper and can't infest other cultures.
