Will they grow faster with a heat source or is room temperature (70 degrees) ok? I need my crickets to grow there a little small for my cham.

i keep my babies heated to increase growth (kept at approx 88 degrees) the adults are kept at about 80 in the day and all drop 10 degrees at night..the lowest temps ive kept crickets at is around 65 and they still do fine..just grow much slower..:D

i dont know if crickets grow faster in a heat source but its best to keep it natural, find out what variety of temps they live in in the wild, and that is probably what they will thrive in.

I breed them and have found over some time that stimulating them with heat does infact grow them faster..however, if you are trying to keep some at a certain size for an extended amount of time, lowering the overall temps will help you successfully do just that..:D
