What about earwigs?

Does anyone know if chameleons (veiled) can eat earwigs? There is a local boom on them right now, and a free source of food. Tons of them here! Anyone?

I think there's a reason why I called them pincher bugs, when I was little. I have quite a few floating around in the potted plants inside cages in garage. Have yet to see a cham go after one, but my button quail like chasing and eating them.

the other post by sandrachameleon that was linked to an original question, told the story..guess not, it was worth a shot. thanx!

i would say no if they are from outside. who knows what they ate where they have been and so on and they are going into your chameleon so whatever could be wrong with them goes into your pet plus they have a VERY foul odour if you smoosh them
