i know wax worms should only be a treat but i have a couple questions for anyone who knows or breeds them. can u feed the moths to chams? how often should wax worms be given to chams as in once or twice a week? can oatmeal be used as their food? how many should i start with? and do they smell?

The moths can be fed, Karma love them. For their food I mix oatmeal and honey, not with too much honey, don't want them getting stuck. They don't smell in my experience, and I started with about 20. There's many blogs online of how to breed them.

They went in coccoon about a week after I put them in their container and hatch a week after that. You can feed them out as fast as you want. Just get a container, put the mix in the bottom, put sticks against the bottom and sides they can climb on, and a mesh lid. I just used pantyhose. If you want them to breed while in there just crumple up wax paper or use cardboard, forgot what you do to the cardboard, but they'll lay eggs in it.
