Watery poop

Is this normal? Poop was so watery and a few clear liquid drops came out before the actual poop.

This is the Urate portion (basically their pee) However it should have had some color to it. Do you have a pic of the entire dropping that came out?

I have a video of the whole thing. However the urate came first. It was white but they are usually attached together and more solid. This was so watery the urate came first then I saw this followed by the poop. On the other had he’s been drinking a lot from the dropper but I dont think it should make it this watery but I can be wrong. Also this is is second poop of the morning

So Urate/fecal depend also on what your feeding and how much. A well hydrated cham can produce more watery urates. Key here is watery not mucousy. Without seeing the whole sample I can't tell you if it looks normal or not.

+1. It's most likely just surplus water. Chameleons & other lizards don't urinate as such; they excrete ("solid") urates instead. If they have a lot of excess water in their systems, it can get excreted along with other waste.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reptile#Excretion

My bearded dragon has never drunk a single drop of water in his entire life (despite many opportunities); he gets all the moisture he needs via his diet of juicy num-numz (bugs) and plant matter.
Yet every ? is accompanied by a near equal volume of water.

As Beman noted, as long as it's not mucous(-y), it's nothing to worry about.

Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - 4 month old male panther

Feeding - mostly crickets, 5-8 a day He should be eating more like 12-15 feeders a day at this age. What are you gutloading your feeders with?
Supplements - Arcadia earth proA 5 days a week. Outdoor sticky tongue twice a week. Calcium LoD twice a month. For this I would drop the sticky tongue. You do not need it. Earthpro A is your base phosphorus free calcium without D3. This should be used at every feeding except when you use the repashy calcium plus LoD 2 times a month. With the repashy it is your vitamins and calcium with D3. So this one should be 2 times a month every other week. With supplements all feeders should be lightly dusted and then fed.
Watering - mister every 8 hours for 2 min. Sometimes dropping water strait to the mouth. He drinks a lot. Misting should be increased IMO Not during the day when lights are on and temps in cage are hot but right before or after lights are on and same in the evening. Really spraying down all live plants really well. Adding a dripper to the cage for during the day to drip on the plants will trigger drinking response. Fogging at night when All lights are off and temps are cool will provide natural hydration as well. Here is a podcast on it. https://www.chameleonbreeder.com/podcast/ep-89-naturalistic-hydration-for-chameleons/

I would love to see pics of the entire cage so I can see what your working with. Helps me spot any areas that may be an issue.

Right now per the fecal... I believe this could be due to over hydrating because you are giving water through a dropper. This is really not recommended as aspiration risk is high. Also it is not a natural way for them to hydrate. Then you add in the fact that he is not getting very many feeders. This makes the fecal much smaller and could produce a very loose watery fecal. I would up your feeding amounts as I suggested above and do away with hand dropping water into his mouth. Let him drink naturally. See if this makes a difference in his stool. If it does not and he continues to have runny fecals you should get a fecal test run for parasites IMO.

Personally I would go ahead and find a reptile vet that you can take the fecal in to. Just to check. They should not require you to bring in the cham to just run the fecal. Should it come back with anything then they would require you to bring in the cham.

But he looks underweight so increasing his feeders should be done now. Unless your already offering 12 or more and he is only taking 5-7 then again you should get a fecal done because they eat everything they can at this age when they are healthy.

I still would stop giving water via a dropper though. The risk on this with aspiration is not one I would take.

Looking good. So I would recommend more real branches. Getting dragon ledges would help you have something to actually attach to. Looks like you have a linear T5HO fixture is that correct? What UVB bulb strength are you using? It will be written on the end of the bulb.

I plan on getting that once I upgrade his cage those ledges are really helpful. And it is a 6%
Perfect so a 6% in a T5HO single bulb fixture should be 9 inches away from the closest branch below it. This allows for the proper UVB level at basking. You can also raise the fixture if this is easier to achieve the 9 inches to branch.
