If I remember correctly you guys say waterfalls are not good for chams right? I got a cage from a lady who used to have a cham but doesn't use the cage anymore, It's 3 sides screen (sides and front) the back and bottom are glass. It came with a waterfall, but I wanna know what you guys think before I add my cham on thursday. Thanks:D

As above.....they are just the same old water going round and round. I wonder why the other lady used one, her poor reptile had old stale water to drink!

Ah I thought so, ok I'll take it out, she says she used it for humidity, her cham never drank from it. But I just wanted to check first, thanks guys:)

i have a waterfall in mine but we change the water everyday with clean water. NOT FROM A TAP. but i would suggest that if u dont have time to just spray the leaves within the enclosure.:)

there are many ways to help with humidity, i.e live plants are great! a couple extra short mistings a day and so on :) but the waterfall is definately a no go, they are full of bacteria and your chameleon could possibly drown in it.

Humidity...

Yes, there are many ways to assist with humidity... Waterfalls are just asking for trouble that can be avoided... plus I know she said he Cham never drank from it but I do not see how she would know that for sure unless she watched it 24/7 which is not likely... So IMO ditch the waterfall they just simply are not worth the risk!

Post pics of your Cham when you get them!
