hey everyone. My baby veiled chameleon is pretty friendly. when i open the top of his cage his is always racing for my hand to climb on up. My question is, how come everytime i touch him, does his tail curl up into a spiral? does that mean hes nervous, scared, happy, hungry??? anyone know? i would like to know what there warning signs are for when he gets older and those teeth start to come in lol. Please help!

hes about 4 inches long without the tail, so i think hes a couple months old. not sure, bought him from a pet store and they didnt know the exact birth date. yeah the cage is def huge for him but i figured it couldnt hurt lol. ill def check that website. thank you!

ok good, so i guess he likes me and is comfortable with me. funny how a little reptile like this can actually make you feel needed. as soon as i walk in the room he is walking towards the mesh cause he knows its play time.

too big of a cage can be an issue for juveniles, usually do to bad hunting skills and food having lots of hiding spots, just make sure he's eating good
