Jann, does it still run away quickly?
She's getting better. Today I put my hand in her cage and she jumped on and came out for about 15 minutes and just sit on my hand and got chin rubs. She use to run when you tried to get her out. She puffed her little chin out at me. Do you know what that means?
This morning I had her crickets in a cup and put it in her cage to put a few crickets in her feeding dish and she ran in the cup and ate them all. Then she turned brown and was scared to come out of the cup and I had to help her out.
To be the slightest bit more specific, Dulce is a Cuban Knight Anole (native to Cuba, established in Florida), and probably the most common pet store anole is the Carolina anole (native to much of the SE United States). The pet store I grew up with carried Carolina anoles as their only lizard, and the one I frequent now always has the Carolinas and sometimes the Cuban Knights.@AR, it depends what type of anole it is in the pet store![]()
