Hi!

It's been a long time since my last photo thread. Here are some close-up photos I took for our two veileds, Kermit(female) and Calcifer(male). Magnification is roughly between 1:1 and 2:1.

Enjoy...

Thanks everybody. Your comments are always appreciated. Since claw picture was popular I might take some more from different angles and post them here. I took those photos at night while they were sleeping. There's no chance of taking these sort of photos of them when they are awake since they would eat me alive for being intrusive.

ConcertPhotog; looked at your site, beautiful photos.

Those claws are real daggers compared to your Ambilobe's claws! (Considering how my Ambilobe pinches, maybe it's just as well I don't have a veiled...)

That is exactly why I got some leather gloves if I need to hold them for cage cleaning etc. I used to "endure the grasp" but no more. Not only painful, but they can break skin. I have no problems holding my panther folk. Adult veileds will shred your hands.
