Toung got pulled, maybe?

So when I was feeding my cham his thanksgiving dinner, he missed his shot and his tong got stuck on my hand. It seems that his tong got pulled a half inch more out of his mouth when this happened. It was stuck on my hand, and he had to walk over to my hand to use his jaws to get it un-suctioned off. I am worried because he wouldn't shoot it afterwords. He would just extend it and bail out. He ate fine after that if I hold the worm next to his head, but im a worried little beaver because I do not want anything to happen. Do you think it could be that it is hurt in any way? A little sore? Maybe he is just nervous to shoot it again?
It isnt super hyper extended, or hanging out in any way. Its completely in his mouth, and the only problem that I can see is he is hesitant to shoot it. I hope its just me over reacting like I tend to do when it comes to him. Any help would be appreciated. Happy thanksgiving to you Americans, and to you Canadians happy thursday.

just check on him...if he doesent start using his tounge again after a day or 2 ....(as in hes chasing the prey not shooting it)....then get vet help
