I have searched the forums for this and I haven't really found any definitely answers.

What is your average egg laid to hatch ratio? With that answer could you give a little back round on your females diet/incubation techniques.

Also, on average how many fertile clutches do you go for a year per female?

So far, a 100% hatch rate. But one hatchling of one clutch died within a week of hatching. You can read about their diet in my blog, as its essentially the same as what I log for my males, just a little less. I try to keep my girls to only one clutch per year, fertile or not. I've tried to find a way to stop cluches all together, but have thus far failed to anything but delay and reduce. I've only permitted one to two total fertile clutches per animal. I keep chameleons as pets more than as breeders. I keep NosyBe, Ambilobe, and Ambi-Nosy hybrids.

As you can tell, my spelling is HORRID. Thanks for the input though.

Todnedo: How many of those clutches were per year per animal? What are your diet techniques? and how do you incubate?

Most panthers will lay 2 fertile clutches per breeding. I only breed my females once a year.

If you dont let them mate more than once, as in briefly rather leaving them together a long time, you'll have good odds of a single fertile clutch. or at least it's worked with mine.
