Tilly - Eggs

Hey guys,

I don't know if you remember, but about 3 weeks ago before I went on holiday I posted a thread with some of Tilly's pics and a few people informed me that from her colourings she was probably gravid and looking a little on the fat side (also became more active) lol. So anyway we prepared for this, got her a bin and watched her food intake etc.

Anyway ... 3 weeks later no change and no eggs!! She hasn't gone off food, she's exactly the same, she doesn't look any fatter than she did before and her colours are the same. She has gone near the laying bin and knows it's there, but she doesn't go in it!

Could it be that these are just her colourings?

Please help.

If it's any help, Amy has been showing her adult colours for around a month now too and I think she's around the same age as Tilly. She also shows no interest in her laying bin. Lily's colours were always the same - she never showed gravid colouring, just brighter blues when receptive. Hope you enjoyed your holiday!

Ok so maybe we're worrying about nothing!! I just looked at some of your more recent pics Tiff they are gorgeous. The resemblence between Amy and Tilly in uncanny. If we put them together you'd think one was looking in the morrir!

Hi Sandra,

Thanks. She looks pretty much like the middle picture. So maybe she's just receptive. There is no reason (I don't think) why she wouldn't lay her eggs if she had some, everything is there for her. But sometimes I think I can see eggs (she can look a little fat), then other time she looks skinny. Little madam, she confuses me. Gonna try and get some updated pics soon x
