tail injury

has trapped shedding skin caused this or is it a burn?

my female yemen has had a few problems with her tail! first she had some skin that she couldnt get off but now it seems she may have burnt the tip of it. the problem sheddin the skin only seems to have made it worse. the tip of her tail is now what i can only describe as a "fag ash" colour! What do i do ????

couple of Q:
1. How is it that your cham can get burn trauma? is the light inside the cage? is it sitting close to the top of the screen?
2. As far as the unfinished shed, increasing the humidity and warm water shower (provided that she's old enough to undergo this therapy) can be helpful.
3. A pic will be good.
