Supplements for color?

Hi everybody,
I'm a newbie at having chameleons. Around the beginning of August I bought my first egg which hatched 8/27/14. Now I also have an eight month old female (who has already laid her first infertile clutch) and I purchased a dozen more eggs from different sires. All ambilobe panthers. Here's my question: I read somewhere that there is a supplement that helps the colors develop more brilliantly--is that true? The statement was from a well known commercial chameleon breeder.
Thanks, and very glad to have found you all!

You might be thinking of a Rapashy product called Super Pig. It is loaded with carotenoids to help bring out reds and oranges. Whether it works or not I do not know.

Providing a natural diet to your insects that is high in carotenoids would probably achieve the same results. Carrots and sweet potato's are two good choices.
