Superworm/beetle?

One of my feeder superworms has turned into a black beetle.
So I have 3 questions
-is it okay to feed to a chameleon?
-will a chameleon even eat it, will it digest it?
-will the beetle lay eggs or something to hatch more worms?

Feed-NO the beetles are bitter to the taste.

Digest-Chams can digest hard beetles, but mine all spit them out after the first crunch.

If you put male 7 female beetles together you will get tiny worms, but it takes months to raise them to a size that the cham can/will eat.

Some chameleons will happily eat these beetles, many will not. Although it does take a long time intially, once you've got it going its easy and cost effective to breed these larva feeders for yourself.
