Hello everyone. I have had a Senegal chameleon for about 4 months now or something and he was doing fine (but he has always been very skinny) till the last couple of weeks. he is always all black and im really worried about him. He is very skinny and also his poop smells sooo bad!!! so i think he has parasites. i just set up a vet appointment for tomorrow. it stinks that its going to cost a lot of money but its worth it for Freddy.
Without his tail he is about 3.5 or 4 inches long now. I want to get a cage for him. Would a 16x16x30 reptarium be appropriate for him? The cage he has now is smallish and its glass and i know glass is bad for them so i want to get him out but i cant until his poop smells better cause if i got a reptarium it would make the whole room stink.
So yeah also how big do Senegals get to be and what age is it easiest to tell whether its a male or female? do Senegals have the bulge under their tails if they are a guy?
Just so you all know I am misting him properly, i have a uvb bulb for him and a basking light, he drinks from a bottle that i hold in front of his nose, and he eats well so i know all the husbandry is correct except for the cage.
