Shelves

I am looking for a shelving system for my cage. I got a cage already and I want something I can set on top of it but yet have room for draining system. I am plumming the draining system with PVC and I want a way to put the cage on a shelve unit and have room to plum under neath.

I want it to be no higher than 2 feet, but I cant find anything thats priced right, saw one for 200... I dont want to do that.. I wouldnt mind if it was enough to fit 2 setups either, so 5 feet long, 2 feet high

Help, i wanna get it today lol

You could always build something yourself. Make a frame out of wood/pvc/metal. And get the metal wire shelving and lay across it. I use the wire shelving as a bottom to my cages so all the water can drain out.

idea

I bought 6 foot folding tables from home depot holds 3 24x24x48 cages found pvc drain drilled and glued in pan and rubber boot from drain to 1" plumbing drilled hole in table with 3" hole saw connected plumbing ran out window and put a dowell in window for security i have misting system with fogger nozzels that run 3 x a day the tables work great also the pan bows from weight of plant and i use a drain screen so cricket dont escape (sorry no pics i dont know how yet) tables were $44

Well thanks for input, I am about to head out to lowes to see what I can find. I dont have many tools really, well the good ones to fab stuff and thats why I was hoping to buy something done where I can just do minimal work.
I would love to make something on my own, seen some great ideas, but my talent is in chemistry lol and science.

I will take a peek today and attempt something. but I really want a full proof system that I can set it and maintain it

thanks for your input guys :)

wow folks, I really suggest you guys go into lowes for supplies and plants. I went in there to get a shelves unit, not only did I find a awesome one for $60 but I also found the best plant I could find even in local nursherys. I had to buy it. It was only 10 bucks!

These guys have your plumming, plants, everything to get draining going. Check out the pics of the shelves and I will repost my setup with a new post when I get it done later today, I have to head to work and I need some drill bits. and a way to brace the pvc so its off to the hardware store.

I dont want to tell you how much ive invested totally here, more than I thought now but from the start to now, almost 800 bucks but I want the best system for my little guy (fyi the 800 included a 300 chameleon)

Stay tunned for pics, I really think you will like it

Shelving.com has a wide variety of wire shelves. You can customize your setup and the prices are very affordable.

Great tip, this one has 2 of those sections. I can put 4 full cages on these, and room for draining and supplies, crickets ect. 60 bucks and you dont have to wait. says they can support up to 2k pounds. I dont know a better deal. to have enough room for 4 setups and mist king setup, fogger its a smoking deal.

I have been mustering what to do and make it look good, Wait until you see what I have planned. I will get a mist king soon. stand by for new post, 2 hours or so
