She tried to eat his eye!

So I was trying to see if my female panther was receptive, and she wasnt but as I was taking her out of the cage, she lunged at my boys eye

I tried rinsing it out with H2O, and I put some Terramycin ointment in it, he opens for short periods of time, then closes it It doesnt look cloudy.

Vet not in tommorow, any advice welcome.

I doubt that it got infected so the terramycin wouldn't help. It's likely just sore, give it a few days and see how he's doing. Poor fella.

I put it in to pervent infection and to lubricate the eye incase it was irritated. Thank you for your advice

I had a male lateralis kill a female one time. I put them together and everything was good. When I got back she was dead on the cage floor. I felt bad that I didn't watch them long enough it was a hard lesson to take.

Sorry to hear about the dead female. But i bet you never let it happen again. Hard lesson though.
