my 5week old veiled was on a new plant i got him and he ate a little piece of Styrofoam and I'm worried. is he a goner or what? made sure he cant get any more from the plant so right now im just watching him.

why is there styrofoam on your plant i don't understand?

how much did he eat?

from what I hear styrofoam is pretty toxic and if it becomes impacted Im pretty sure it will sit there and melt into his system, I want to say to make sure he gets a lot of water, but that may end up speeding up the breakdown of the styrofoam which is probably already occuring.....my best advice is to feed him a bunch of small(tiny) crickets so he at least has some other goods in his stomach making the toxic less substantial....but this is not good news

it was a little white ball in the soil that came with the plant theres a few in it, now its covered, it just happened so fast. ill make sure to give me alot of food and water.:(

99% chance that this will be fine.
Mine has consumed a decent amount of this substance...(before I wised-up) and passed it with no problem.
Don't worry.
