Quick egg question

After the female chameleon has laid her eggs is it ok to leave them buried in the dirt during the incubation process. If using an incubator such as this one?

You can leave them in the dirt, however in my opinion, it is more difficult to maintain the correct moisture level as compared to an incubation medium such as vermiculite or perlite.
