Question on MistKing Tubing

Can I use the high-pressure tubing I got from Aquazamp for my MistKing?

It seems I didn't get quite enough tubing with the MistKing--I didn't realize my system h ad a loop and needed double the tubing.

I'm sure it is the same tubing, but I'm running across hardwood floors and can't afford a failure.

Thanks.

I believe so. Just took a look at the Aqua-zamp on tikitiki reptiles:

If this is it, they use 1/4" line just like Mist-king. You should be fine. Make certain that you cut your tubing line square, so when you push your line into your fitting, it seats completely flush in the fitting. Use a razor knife or something equivalent. IE: don't use scissors or side handle pliers to cut your tubing. Don't ask.......

You can also get an extra 50' of black 1/4" tubing for under $5 (Rainbird) at HD, Lowes, Walmart, Amazon etc. if you need more.

Let me know how it goes. Post up some pics.

$6 at Home Depot gets you 100 feet of tubing! I wouldn't get the one at lowes, as its thinner plastic and supper pliable. I had a tough time pushing it into connectors as it would bend.

If it's Lowes stuff; yea, watch it. I've had few prob. w/ Lowes brand things. For future reference, never go off brand with anything involving water or electrical. I've got the 50' roll of Rainbird 1/4" tubing and it's heavy duty, high pressure, thick walled tubing.

Do not use the softer black tubing you get from HD or Lowes. It's not rigid enough to withstand the pressure when the pump kicks on. It will blow out of the collet while you are work, and you will come home to a flood. And your husband will be mad. True story.
