Panther vs Veiled care?

Hello! Recently I've been doing some research on the differences between Panther chameleons and veiled chameleons. I was sure before now that I was going to get a male veiled chameleon because from what I've read, they are the best beginner chameleon and I bought all of the supplies for one. However, someone just told me that panther chameleons are the same difficulty and care as veileds. When I research the difference in the care between the two, all I could find was some temperature differences and a minute humidity difference. I understand that no chameleon is easy to take care of, but from your experience are veiled chameleons "easier" than panthers or are they the same?
Thanks!

I have had both veiled and panthers and find that they are virtually identical in the way I care for them. The biggest difference I found was in their temperment. While my panthers will puff a bit from time to time, they are otherwise quite docile and have never attempted to bite or head slap.

My veiled chameleons were MEAN!!! one of them would literally jump on my hand and start biting (HARD) and time I went in his cage. Veiled chameleons can be much more cage aggressive than panthers.

These are, of course, generalizations and there are exceptions to the rule. Otherwise they are both rewarding breeds to care for and fascinating to watch.
