Panther Egg Gestation Time?

I've searched and searched and cant' find much out about this. I've read that after mating, eggs usually are laid anywhere from 20 to 34 days. Some websites I've looked at have said longer.

I'm really interested to find out how many days from mating that your panthers took to lay?

I'm going on day 29 from two successful matings, once on the 21st and the second on the 23 of last month. I honestly can't tell if my female is gravid. I can't feel eggs, though she looks bigger. She's sometimes gravid color and sometimes not. She gapes at my male and is unreceptive to him.

Has anyone had their females take an abnormally long time to lay?

In my experience , it usually takes 23- 35 days from the time the female becomes gravid. That may not be immediately after a mating though. Lower basking temps can run the female to the long end of that range also.

Hey, I really appreciate the reply. She shows gravid when my male is in site and sometimes in her cage but not all the time. I can't feel any eggs though, so I'm not sure at what point after mating she "became gravid" or if she even is gravid. Being day 29 from the matings, I'm really starting to wonder......

I thought that I had read someone had a female go somewhere in 40+ days after mating before she laid? Not sure if this is possible or not.
