Ok for him to sleep on free range?

I have a small fake house plant on my desk, Monty fell asleep on it. I don't want to piss him off/stress him out and shove him back in the cage, so is it fine if he just sleeps there?

Door will be closed all night, everything is clean right now, Closet is closed, everything would be very easy to search if he were to wake up before me.

I don't want him wandering off when he wakes up (usually before me).

Anyone share experiences?

My boys sleep in their free range most nights. When I wake up I put them back in to their cages until after I get off work, then let them out to roam again.

I was so nervous I woke up at 4 AM and gently took him off it and put him back. No fuss from him, that's a first!
