My 1 1/4 year old chameleon has started intentionally crawling down the side of his cage to the ground and just hanging out he had MBD but has overcome it a few months ago (still on a heavy calcium diet) he has all the proper lighting is in a huge mesh cage and eats about 3 or 4 crix a day. any ideas? Oh i mist him regularly too.

is he in a new cage or has anything been changed recently? if so maybe he is just exploring around or something and see whats going on

Is it normal for a male cham to just randomly start digging a hole at the bottom of his cage or... did i just hullucinate his spur and its a girl?

What is your basking and gradient temps? Could be he's getting overheated.

His cage is in the low 80s, basking spot is about mid 90s.
