night spot light with out disturbing the cham?

iiii gotcha. well i know low light doesnt bug mine when he is sleeping so maybe you could put some tissue over a flash light to soften it a little bit or something like that..

Just look away...you don't want anyone watching you when you sleep do you? I wrap my cages up in towels every night, mostly to keep the lights from the TV and computer from bothering them, but also to keep me from going to spy on them.

i keep mine out side and like to do a head count every night to see how they look and where they sleep. and i had a female dig and lay late into tonight and wanted to check on her with out her seeing me. but she is done now and sleeping. she layed 21 eggs. long day for her.:D

it there a spectrum of light that the chameleon cant see like green or red?
I thot it was the red light that reps don't see....I've used them(a red light) before for night viewing on several species without problems...they all slept. I really don't think the lights disturbed them. White light of any degree will wake them up.
