What types of lighting should you use for the night I heard using red or blue lights will stress chameleons Or do I shut off my lights all together:confused:
I would appreciate it If some one could help me out:D

Unless your night temps are dropping below 60 degrees F-there is no need for heating/lighting. Chams do best with a temperature drop and darkness at night!

If you have a veiled and keep him inside, you will not need heat at night. If you have a panther, no heat is needed if the night time temps are above 60F

We don't use any type of lights on ours at night, but then again, we live in Las Vegas where it's already a nice nighttime temperature!

I would say the temps could go down to 50 degrees f. and you would still be in the safe zone.
