yes..... it is in the enclosure at the very top...you cant see it in the picture.....

Why is his heat lamp on the side? It should be where the UVB lamp is, at the top. Those bright flowers may stress him out also. Be prepared to take them out.

i hope your uvb bulb isnt a coil bulb because they are known to cause blindness. zoo med reptisun 5.0 linear is highly reccomended

The UVB tube is inside the cage. Make sure you dont get it wet, which will be hard to do since you need to mist so much.

yeah ditch those flowers....the colors can casue stress...as said...make sure its not a coil uvb but ....a liniear tube reptisun 5.0 or reptiglo5.0

ok i got rid of the flowers...my other panther never minded them but i dont want to take the chance with this one.....and yes it is a 5.0 linear tube...i never knew they could go blind from the other ones till the other day...good thing i always had that one in it......i also got bamboo sticks and sanded them down and scrubbed them in hot water...it had a thin layer of some sort of paint and coating on it....i got 99.9 % of it off.....will that be ok?.....im going to move the heat lamp on top...its just hard to do because the enclosure is hanging from the ceiling and i cant move the uvb outside cause there is no way to hook it up.....

well...live bambo is posoness if eaten...so if the bamboo sticks are dead...then its fine

No, lucky bamboo is poisonous. It's not even real bamboo, it's a type of lily or something...

That should be fine though. Wooden perches also work (just like bird perches.) Just make sure to clean them well. Really try to get that light up top, think about in the wild, can you be above the sun?

im not sure if its real or not...but its dead and looks like a perch...i dont see why he would try to eat a stick looking thing...its not even green...it just looks like wood.....i cant find tall enough sticks... would the smell attract him?.... and putting them up high in the cage is next to impossible...when i get money im gonna get a regular enclosure with real plants...

Sticks are fine if they're clean. Some chameleons (especially veileds) will chew on/eat random things. Most panthers don't though. He was just warning you against lucky bamboo as it's poisonous and leaves can accidentally be ingested while hunting.

ok...it is a bamboo stick...but its all dried up and i sanded it...i just didnt know if he would be attracted to the smell and chew it or something....it will work for now...till i find another enclosure for him....thanks

Bamboo is also fine, just not lucky bamboo. I forgot to say that also...

I like the hanging cages, I want to get a few to hang outside in the spring and summer

Can you clamp the basking light to the chain the cage is hanging from? Just an idea

If you really want the fake flowers may be wait til lil dude is settled and add one here and there to see how he reacts, my chames don't care as long as I don't move their sticks lol

they are nice to hang up but you cant put live plants in because the cage will get to heavy...unless someone found a way to do it.....it is nice to take outside in the summer.....plus its huge and wasnt all that expensive...i got it at llreptile.com....i think i paid something like 40 to 60 dollars for it.....

When you lil guy gets a little oldr you may want to go to a 2x2x4, LLLreptile sells them at a good price! Your Cham is just a lil guy so you have a while!

thats what i am going to do...im gonna save up some money and get a enclosure you can sit on something and put real plants in...then i will just use the one he in in now for the summer to take him outside....i love llreptile...its one of the cheapest places i found...thats where i order my crickets....the place i bought my lil guy also sells the enclosures with everything you need in it...and its packed full...i think i was like 185 plus 25 shipping......
