Pre-formed vitamin A, or pro-formed?
In any case, with most if not all insects, a lot depends on the gutload.
some may tell you to offer pinkies, but I stongly discourage that.
some people choose the type of vitamin supplement dusted based on what they feel their chameleon needs in terms of vitamin A
a vet can prepare an oral solution based on chameleon weight, if there is urgency and Pre-formed vitamin A is desired.
good sources of beta carotene include carrots and dandelion leaves. preformed vitamin A comes from animal sources.
