Need advise

I'm treating my male panther for worms the vet gave me panacur. My question is I just disinfected his cage and put new plants in. This morning I gave him the panacur for the first time. He hasn't pooped yet. Will his first poop be clean or will there be worms in it? Will I have to disinfect the cage again? When will I not have to disinfect any more?

What kind of parasite did he have? Normally Panacur is given twice. Three days now and then in two week three more days. Then wait two weeks and get another fecal to see if he's clean. If not then repeat. It's always a good habit to pick up poop as you see it and do a weekly cleaning on the cage.
