My new cham loves his misting

I was watching my new cham this morning and when the mist king came on, he went right into the mist and drank his fill. I've never observed my chams drink this much. After he was full of water, he actually sat in the mist for about 2 minutes longer til it shut off. It was amazing! Here's a vid.

Here's a snapshot of him just showering himself. He's going through a full body shed so he must be loving it.

That is so nice to see! I can barely ever get my chameleon to drink. It is very frustrating at times! If he does drink it is only for a few seconds and then he stops. His urates could look better but overall he looks very hydrated and healthy.

O:phhh, can't wait to get home, per the UPS website my Mist King should be waiting on my porch when I get home!!! Hope my cham loves it and drinks more!!!

That's cool...Mine hate it!!! The other day he tried to attack the nozzle and ended up falling to the bottom of his cage.... scared me to death.

That's cool, I don't have a mist king but I do have the best hand mister in the world (Sir-Mists-A-Lot). My Male veiled has just decided he loves it and did just the same a couple of days ago - he's shedding now too. My female still doesn't like it much, but will tolerate a bit.....

I've NEVER seen my veiled girl drink depite 3 long hand mists a day and a permanent dripper on to a big leaf but her poos come out with a big white attachment which I Presume is the urates bit and she certainly doesn't LOOK dehydrated...

How old is she? It's normal though, I think I've seen one or two sips from my 5 months old - I can only be totally sure because of the very whiteness of the poo. She is totally fine.

mines the exact opposite, he runs for the hills whenever i start to mist his cage down. I mist once i wake up in the mornig with a hand bottle mister from home depot with luke warm water @ 7am and again when i get home from work @ 5pm. my gf mists him around lunch time also and we leave the cage/plant soaking so that he gets enough time to drink although we never actaully see him drink aside from licking his face once or twice.

Dave, she's about 9 month old and beautiful (of course :D) BUt she HATES the misting, runs and hides every time. I just figure if i get everything REALLY wet, she's going to get the drips from somewhere? And as I said before the dripper runs 24/7 so she always knows where to go for a drink. Maybe she's a secret night time drinker like that bloke in the "R Whites Lemonade" advert of the 1980s :D
