My Christmas is ruined

Hello all!
I hate to say this, but my 2 year old Veiled, Colt, just died. I don't know why, he was fine yesterday, and today. I sprayed him twice today, and he was fine. I'm not sure what happened, but I am very upset, I've seen him get bigger from the age of 2 months. I'm gonna miss him.

RIP Colt :(

Oh my gosh, that is terrible. I am so sorry this happened to you and especially at this time of year. Maybe God needed another little cham angel.

I am so sorry to hear you lost your little buddy. He went to join all the other chameleons we have lost for the chameleon Christmas in the sky.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I'm sure you know that I too just lost my female ambilobie.
It seems that a lot of ust have sick or dead chameleons...I'm wondering if fecals for all my chams are in order as now my male (my dead females boyfriend) is just holding on and has a vet visit shortly...I need a good poop before I run to the vet

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I am so sorry you lost Colt, it must have been such a shock. It's the most awful feeling to lose a gorgeous chameleon, I've been there myself. Keep your chin up - you will feel better, but it takes a while. Thinking of you, Tiff xx

So sorry to hear about Colt. I know it has to be rough. Not just the loss, but also the shock and confusion.

I realize it's Christmas time and not really a good time for funerals- but I know from experience with the loss of our Guido, that it makes you feel better in the long run if you are able to bury him somewhere and mark the spot with a remembrance.
