I have a 5 yr. old ambilobe male that has always been green bodied with red bars. He has not shed in probably a year or more and finally shed. After the shed I noticed his bars were no longer red. The bars have all turned blue, check out the photo. Pretty cool.

i wouldnt say 5 months lol but man he does look really nice for 5 yrs! hes a beauty!

5 years old? That guy looks like he's 5 months old! :D

Is that a compliment? I don't really get it, but...With all the people in this market now a days who sell 8-10 month old guys as 3-4 month old guys, I would too get confused.

He looks good! And Ambilobes are fun like that, their bars can change over night!!! Look at your big man's dewlap, its soo soo red! he is gorgeous, and has some very nice coloring!

Thanks everyone. In the second picture, I think he is trying to tell me to get the camera out of his face. This old geezer is one of my favs. I hope he lives for many more years. I would miss him a lot. When I first got him, he was defensive and hard to handle. Now he is totally used to me and will tolerate handling.
