For some reason I have this feeling that the pump needs to be mounted vertically.... however I can not find anywhere labelled on the pump or on the mistking site if it is necessary
can the pump be mounted sideways?? or must it stand vertically
I just have mine sitting under the cage on the shelf (horizontally). I didn't secure it to anything and have had no problems. It doesn't move a bit and there are no problems with the misting. I have been using it for about 4 months.
Ideally just leave the pump sitting on the floor. If you mount it vertically, point the pump head towards the ground. Better to have it on the ground though so gravity can feed water to the pump.
