mealworms what happened?died overnight

ok well i got my order of mealworms in yest and they were fine perfect order ...i put them in my fridge as stated and today i woke up and looked at them just to see what they were doing and their all dead? anything i could of done wrong? they didnt sit in the heat and they sat at my post office until i picked them up in a room with a/c

Did you let them sit out for a while to warm up? I have never fed them but I know the waxworms look like they are dead too. I dumped them all out on this table looking for live ones and I came back and thought they were all dead and the next thing I knew they were crawling over all. Just a thought it could be the same scenerio.

species of mealworms? idk didnt know there was... oh well i didnt think abotu them just being a little stiff due to being cold and needing to get back a body temp....thanks...

Yeah they need to worm up before they move around.

My mealworms don't move until they warm up, my cham usually eats them before they start moving. Otherwise they fall off the leaves I set them on and I end up having to pick them up off the bottom of my enclosure.
