I know this is probably asked alot but i dont know a thing about lights for these guys i know i gotta get a UVB light can i get an 18 inch bulb and use my blacklight fixture? what about the basking lamp? Can i use a desk lamp and light bulb for that?

youll need a Reptisun 5.0 Linear UVB tube.

As far as heat most people use a 40-60 watt house bulb, depending on temps needed that is above the cage

awesome thank you and will aluminum screen from home depot work for the cage i've built?

it should. watch your cham when hes in it so that he isnt dragging his nose on it and possibly ripping his skin off,
if he does that you can line it with plastic mesh screen

i still dont have mine yet either, ive jsut been reading around on here for a week getting my setup all done with. I just got mine together yesterday so hopefully in the next to or three days ill be able to pick up the veiled i want from a local breeder
