Now that I'm getting a bit more involved on this forum I thought I'd share a story about something that happened a few years back to my vields. I promise this story is completely true.
It was about 5 years ago. I had at the time, two vield chameleons that I had named Charma and Sly. My wife got a new job in a different town and we had to move to an appartment that didn't allow pets. Sadly I had to give them both up. I gave them to a local pet store that i had spent alot of time at and knew would take very good care of them. They put both chams in a display cage next to the check out counter. It was about a week later and I see a story on the news that the pet store was robbed and the robber held a gun to the chameleon cage and threatened to shoot the chameleons if the manager didn't hand over the money from the register. I saw this and was like Holy Crap! My chams were famous. Charma and Sly even got a few seconds of tv time out of it. they were fine. The manager gave up the contents of the register and the chameleons were unharmed.
