keeping water clean?

I have a mistking system and the bucket i use for holding the water starts building algae in it does anyone have this problem what is the solution?

Cleaning the bucket! You might keep it away from direct light too, this will slow algae growth but not prevent it. Definitely dont use chemical algaecide.

air stones and air pumps work good . Find them fairly cheap at fish supply or gardening places.

I am using RO water and dont have a problem with algae. The container is also covered to keep out light.

ya i have a 2 gallon paint bucket (brand new) with a lid ill try the air stone, and Im using Distilled water
