Had to thin out one of the enclosures yesterday. And the male Parson living in it, came out to inspect.

I know they can withstand lows into the 40's*. Do you see lower temps and are they kept out all year round?

Question: Are you using a rot resistant species of wood for your enclosure? (Red Wood , Cypress etc.) It appears to be painted, how well does it hold up to water? I've read pros and cons on using pressure treated wood and was wondering what your thoughts were on that.

Just painted pine 2x2's. Cheap and easy. Have had first 7'x7'x7' since 2007, and still standing.
