Beman Social Media Manager Staff member May 12, 2020 #2 You can use any type of wood that does not produce sap (avoid things like pine trees and eucalyptus). To my knowledge you could use Pecan because it is in the hardwood family and I believe it is a non sap producing tree when limbs are cut.
