Is 1 UVB bulb enough?

I have 1 exo terra uvb100 bulb for a 18x18x24 terrarium. Is this enough? Or should I add 1 more to increase the area? Will he know its UVB and go underneath it when he wants that type of light?

Ideally you want a tube uv bulb that runs the entire length of the top of the cage. I personally don't use and don't recommend the use of the compact bulbs but some people use them.

I agree with bradley, however, I just use the compact bulbs right now and they seem to be doing alright. My chams go all around the cage to hunt and stuff so they get both heat and uvb from roaming around.

I'll probably switch to a tube eventually.

I have a 100 cfl at his max height place and a 150 that goes towards the bottom /middle of the tank.
