I have a friend whos family is very very wealthy, and also very very into herps and other reptiles. My friend has 4 or 5 difference geckos species, a GTP and 2 other pythons and after seeing Reptar he wants to get a Cham lol. He is way into all his other animals and just happens to have alot... wel i guess its not alot for some of the people on here, but for me and my friends it is haha.

Being that his family is into herps too, he gets max funds for his setups, not in a your spoiled heres money way, in the if were going to have an animal we want nothing but the 100% best that can be afforded. They are extremely down to earth and do not flash there money around, but they sure spend bucket loads of it though.

He wants to get a baby veiled or panther to start and i told him id ask you guys, if money was no object what would that little babys set up be!!

The money is no object thing is of little value with a cham. Screen enclosures are really the best option for most warmer climates and are relatively cheap. I guess the money thing would come into play with the size of the enclosure. The bigger the better, but even then the cham is only going to use so much space.

Really..if this guy is this into herps and has so many already. Tell him to build a green house.

well thats the problem of so cal... to build a nice and good size green house you would need endless paper work and even then you pry wouldnt be able too. I thought that money didnt play much with chams but i didnt know if there was something i was missing that could run up the bill.

Right now he has all his herps in one huge room that is pry 20x20 easily and adjacent to his own as a private "den"

If your friend's family has the funds, hopefully he has the time. Time to me is just as important as the money. I could have a million dollars but if I wasn't home to take care of the chams then I wouldn't own one. (which time seems like not much of a problem considering they already have herps).
If you're friend is interested in getting a cham give him the link to this website. Any beginning cham owner can get more than enough information from the great people here to get properly started. Between the amount of knowledge on this forum, and having the means of getting the best possible equipment, your friend can raise a very happy and healthy chameleon.

He is 200% dedicated to all his animals. One of his geckos needs special care for some kind of health disorder and needs to be fed/supplemented 2 or 3 times a day and hes never had a problem with it, plus if he isnt home his parents step in and help without a problem.
